Find investment and VC Funding at the IDCEE Conference
The abbreviation in the name of the conference stands for “Investor's Day Central and Eastern Europe”, meaning that IDCEE is the place where venture capital meets startups. As it comes from the name, the event is focused first and foremost on the startups from the CEE region and is aimed to be the entry point to the dynamic CEE market. The conference in today's format was first held in 2010, and since then has been one of the main events for those interested in topics such as innovation, tech startups, and VC funding.
What to expect?
This year's conference includes three stages:
- Main stage is where keynotes and panels take place. It will also host the startup pitches for three main IDCEE startup awards. Special China Panel will also be here.
- Startup stage is for and about startups. This is where you should head to participate in workshops and listen to pitches of various teams during Startup Toasters.
- Tech stage is all about geeks of all ranks, from aspiring young engineers to CTOs of international companies.
What a startup can get from the conference?
If you're a founder of a startup looking for VC funding, exposure, media coverage, and/or attracting more customers, IDCEE is the place to be for you. The 150 startups selected by the Expert Committee will get a demo table on the Startap Alley - the biggest in Eastern Europe! - and a chance to win cool prizes.
In the main startup competition, gifts of UAH 150,000, UAH 100,000 and UAH 50,000 are up for grabs.
For those founders who want to perfect their pitches, there is Startup Toaster. This is a stage where startups can pitch demanding jusdges for no longer than three minutes; the pitches are followed by seven minutes of “toasting” by representatives of the world's most renowned startup accelerators.
